Easy Lemon Dill Salmon

This salmon dish has 5 ingredients and takes only 15 minutes to pull together!

Ingredients

  • 2 6- oz salmon fillets skin removed (it won't get crispy, so don't leave it on!)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Juice of one medium lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped

Instructions

  • Remove the salmon from it's packaging and dry it off (carefully!) with a paper towel. Don't forget to remove the skin.
  • Sprinkle on all sides with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter with the garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the lemon juice and dill, and stir until combined. Let cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the salmon to the pan. Let it cook on one side for 5 minutes, but baste the salmon while it cooks. (To baste the salmon, use a spoon to scoop up the liquid from the pan and place it over the salmon while it cooks. This will infuse some great flavor into the salmon.)
  • Using a spatula, flip the salmon and cook until it is cooked through, about 5 minutes. Baste the salmon again while it cooks.
  • Plate with some of the sauce, garnish with fresh dill, and enjoy!
