Remove the salmon from it's packaging and dry it off (carefully!) with a paper towel. Don't forget to remove the skin.
Sprinkle on all sides with salt and pepper. Set aside.
In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter with the garlic until fragrant.
Add the lemon juice and dill, and stir until combined. Let cook for 1 minute.
Add the salmon to the pan. Let it cook on one side for 5 minutes, but baste the salmon while it cooks. (To baste the salmon, use a spoon to scoop up the liquid from the pan and place it over the salmon while it cooks. This will infuse some great flavor into the salmon.)
Using a spatula, flip the salmon and cook until it is cooked through, about 5 minutes. Baste the salmon again while it cooks.
Plate with some of the sauce, garnish with fresh dill, and enjoy!
